Welcome to the website of the MIT Gymnastics Club! We are a club gymnastics team open to any and all interested MIT Affiliates (students, faculty, staff/employees, and alumni) who would like to do gymnastics at MIT, no experience necessary. If you are not an MIT affiliate but still want to do gymnastics at MIT, please contact Abbie Green at Cambridge Community Gymnastics.

Practices are held six days a week, year-round. We have a fully functional gymnastics facility with all six men’s apparatuses and all four women’s apparatuses. Our facility also contains numerous training apparatuses, including a tumbl-trak and tumble strip into a resi pit, a trampoline and a strap bar. We generally host two meets a season, and travel to compete in 4-6 meets per season. Additionally, each year the team travels to compete at NAIGC nationals. We have two superb coaches who are each in the gym three days a week (one primarily coaches the women’s events and the other primarily coaches the men’s events), and many experienced gymnasts who can help you take your gymnastics to the next level.

Our current practice schedule is:

Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri Sat
5:00-7:30pm 5:00-7:30pm 5:00-7:30pm 5:00-7:30pm 5:00-7:30pm 3:30-6:00pm

We hold free open classes weekly on Tuesdays beginning 9/19 through November, after which we are focused on preparing for the competitive season. However, it’s never too late to join the gymnastics team.
If you would like to contact us, please send us a message at gymnastics@mit.edu
